Subject: EL SAL MEMO FROM JOEDY

Hi Quiet Hour family,

Just got back to the hotel. We are pooped out, but what a great day. The eye clinic has been doing an awesome job. What a ministry! Another 160 patients today. That makes more than 600 so far. One young girl had terrible eyesight. They spent almost an hour on her. They looked and looked and finally found a child’s pair of glasses that were her exact prescription... One in 10,000. They were so happy.

We split up the construction crew today. You cannot believe the work ethic of these folk here. One church is getting its roof on today. The church that my group worked at today will be ready for the roof on Thursday. The other two will be ready for their roof on Friday, but there is only one roofing crew, so they will go up next week.

The church at Yanitos Dos is the one my group worked at today. They are planning a Communion service and a dedication service there on Sabbath, so that ought to be a high moment for everyone. Some of the local ladies who have been praying for a church for years came up to our vans as we were leaving and just poured their hearts out in gratitude and thanksgiving. Tears in their eyes, sobbing, they said, "We would never have gotten our church if it wasn’t for you and The Quiet Hour. How can we ever thank you enough! Words just cannot express our gratitude." Let me tell you, we were all choked up driving down the road. So much need here! Some of the sweetest people in the world. What a blessing we are experiencing.

Kristian Allen (videographer) will be here tonight so we will get some great interviews and footage, etc.

Let me tell you, these four churches can be called "the miracles churches." How God has put together an army of local workers and our team is beyond belief.

Must run! Blessings to all back at TQH. Drop us a line! Forward this to... Whoever. Also, please e-mail all of the parents and family of the participants and tell them that everyone is doing super!

Thnx,

Joedy
