shopping tips for natural cleaners
1. read labels carefully
Natural products should have recognizable ingredients. If you can't pronounce the ingredient, it's probably not natural.
2. choose biodegradable products
Petroleum-based ingredients don't break down and eventually pollute our water and marine life.
3. push that pump
Buy pump sprays rather than aerosol dispensers that release nitrous oxide and methylene chloride that harm our environment.
4. when it comes to packaging, think simple
Excessive plastic and cardboard packaging overflows in our landfills and creates mountains of waste. Bring your own reusable bag to the grocery store. Recycle as much as possible. Every little bit helps. |
