Mrs. Alma Tucker
Our lives have always been very closely connected to the ministry of The Quiet Hour. Many years ago my husband, Pastor LaVerne Tucker, and I made a decision to be faithful stewards, even through tough times. Over the years we worked and saved to have a little extra so that we could help share the gospel with others.
When we set up our living trust we had three goals: first, we wanted to make sure that the needs of our family were cared for; second, we wanted to make sure that in our later years we were not a burden to anyone; and third, we wanted to preserve as much as possible of our estate for the ministry of The Quiet Hour. In the later years of LaVerne’s life he had the comfort of knowing that The Quiet Hour would continue the work of sharing the gospel around the world. And because of our trust with The Quiet Hour, I have the assurance of knowing that when I no longer need our trust, a portion of the assets will be used for the ministry for which we both worked and loved.
