Can Your God Help Her?

The Quiet Hour is sponsoring 100 Bible workers in 50 villages of India. These volunteers are trained to assist with the needs of the villagers, and to help illiterate persons learn to read. They help with simple health education programs. And they encourage the children of the villages.

In many cases villagers bring sick or demon possessed friends requesting these Bible workers to help them. The young lady in this photo was possessed by a demon. Under the influence of the evil spirit she was a problem to the peace of the village.

Her family brought her to the two Bible workers and a friend who was visiting. "Can your God help her?" was their question. After a period of personal prayer they gathered around the young woman. As they prayed they held their Bibles over the head of the possessed woman. They asked the Lord to drive the enemy out of her. There was a shriek as the spirit left.

This young woman now rejoices in the wonderful freedom and peace that Jesus gives. The villagers were amazed at the power of Jesus. Many joined the Bible class taught by the two Quiet Hour Bible workers.
