Financing the Campaign
What is the source of the funds to provide for the expenses of the campaign? There are generally three entities that pool funds to cover the campaign budget. The overseas national conference where the campaign is to be held generally provides funds; The Quiet Hour provides funds; and the sponsoring church from which the team is comprised raises funds (or the team itself). The budget for each city will vary according to the economics of that particular country.
Sometimes when the target area is an unentered city, the national conference may not have funds available. Generally, the budget is prepared by the national conference working in cooperation with The Quiet Hour. Please contact the Evangelism Department (evangelism@thequiethour.org) at The Quiet Hour to find out how much your team would need to raise, which may range from $1,000 to $3,000, depending on the target area.
Upon assignment, each team receives a detailed budget that will specify the amounts allotted to the various expenses of their particular campaign. |
