Nine year-old missionary learns about God
Brennan McGlade

When I heard that we were going on an adventure to El Salvador, March 9-27, I thought we'd be living in huts—not in a hotel! Our mission was to teach about God but really when we went to their school and church I learned a lot more than I do at my home church. What a surprise!

Our visit to the orphanage made 32 children very happy with our gifts—food, bouncy balls, school equipment, toothpaste, and clothes. I realized I am a lucky boy to have so much at home. These children have no parents and they live in an old school.

What a great experience for a nine year-old boy from Lanark County! God is good and so am I!

Brennan McGlade, age nine, is the son of volunteer missionaries Robert and Tania McGlade.
